Carly Rose Sonenclar – “Rolling in the Deep”

Dona da voz mais potente do “The X Factor USA”, Carly Rose Sonenclar arrasou mais uma vez e praticamente garantiu seu lugar entre os seis finalistas do programa. Principalmente por ter arrancado elogios de ninguém menos que Simon Cowell, o mais temido dos jurados, ao cantar “Rolling in the Deep”, de Adele. “Achei a primeira parte da música muito boa. E achei a segunda parte da música sensacional”, elogiou Simon.

Emblem3 – “Believer?”

A escolha da música, “Believer?”, do the Monkees, não favoreceu muito o estilo e a desenvoltura dos meninos do Emblem3. Eles foram bem, mas ficou uma sensação de que poderiam ter feito muito melhor. Demi Lovato até citou isso e criticou Simon Cowell, mentor dos meninos, que rebateu a crítica de Demi de forma direta e seca: “Eu já vendi mais de 300 milhões de discos”.

Diamond White – “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”

Diamond White está cada dia melhor e provando que mereceu ser trazida de volta ao programa após ser eliminada. Ela escolheu mais uma música da Whitney Houston, “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”, e deixou Britney Spears orgulhosa. “Eu dançaria com você qualquer dia”, brincou Brit, fazendo referência a letra da música. Da-lhe Diamond!

Paige Thomas – “Never Gonna Give You Up”

Paige Thomas teve que provar que não arrasava apenas em seus figurinos e danças no palco. Ela canta muito e mostrou isso ao fazer uma versão bastante original do hit dos anos 80 “Never Gonna Give You Up”, de Rick Astley. E a estratégia de focar mais na voz deu bastante certo: “Essa foi com certeza sua melhor apresentação até agora”, falou L.A. Reid. Será que ela continua na competição?

CeCe Frey – “Lady Marmalade”

CeCe Frey sempre mostrou muita confiança ao longo do programa, mas na noite de quarta ela não se saiu tão bem. Sua versão de “Lady Marmalade”, de Patti LaBelle, não agradou os jurados. Talvez os dias da loirinha marrenta estejam contados.

Fifth Harmony – “Stronger”

Elas quase foram mandadas para casa, deram a volta por cima e formaram um belo grupo vocal. As meninas do Fifth Harmony seguem conquistando o público e principalmente os jurados. A versão de “What Doesn’t Kill You (Stronger)”, de Kelly Clarkson, deixou Demi impressionada: “Acho que essa provavelmente foi uma das melhores apresentações que vocês já fizeram”.

Vino Alan – “Lost That Loving Feeling”

Vino estava bem na briga pelo contrato de 5 milhões de dólares, mas sua versão de “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling”, de Hall & Oates, não agradou os jurados. Simon foi enfático ao dizer que a música “simplesmente não funcionou”. E agora, hein?

Tate Stevens – “Somebody Like You”

Tate Stevens continua como um dos favoritos e após uma pequena queda de produção na última semana, sua versão de “Somebody Like You”, de Keith Urban, agradou bastante, contanto que ele não dance, conforme brincou Simon Cowell.
